After you have been referred to our office you will be contacted by us to book your appointment. (This can take some time as the scheduling of clinic patients can only be done once the schedule for Dr. McGregor's hospital duties has been determined.) You will also be asked for your email address, if available.
2. Patient Intake Form (Click here to go to the form)
You will be emailed a Patient Intake Questionnaire if you are seeing Dr. McGregor for the first time, or if you have not seen her within the past two years. This questionnaire is to be filled in by you and brought to your scheduled appointment. The details you supply will enable Dr. McGregor to provide you with the best possible care.
3. Patient Information
We may also email you a link to patient information resources pertaining to your upcoming appointment. You can also use the links in the Patient Information section below.
4. Televisits
Your appointment may be conducted via telephone. If it is determined during the televisit that an in-person visit is required, then one will be scheduled to continue with your care.
1. Your relevant medical concerns will be reviewed in detail. The information provided by your Patient Intake Form will be important in providing Dr. McGregor with an overview of your medical history.
2. You may be asked to undergo a physical examination in order for Dr. McGregor to assess your medical situation.
3. A care plan will be outlined which will be customized to your particular medical needs.
1. If necessary we will contact you to schedule a follow-up visit.
2. Your primary care provider will still continue to care for you regarding any other ongoing medical concerns you may have.
3. Please be aware that provincial guidelines stipulate that a new referral from your primary care provider is required if you have not been seen in our office in over 6 months. This may mean that you will have to see your primary care provider prior to seeing Dr. McGregor again.
